NHS Spring Drama Production-Blithe Spirit
North High School Theater Arts will be presenting the farcical ghost story, Blithe Spirit. Charles Condomine (played by Michael Xayavong) has invited Madame Arcati, a psychic (played by Jake Mentzer) over to perform a séance in an attempt to gain some inside knowledge for the book he is writing. Once the séance is over, Charles’ late wife, Elvira (Mayte Gomez-Cruz) has accidentally been brought back. Charles is the only one who can see her at first. His current wife, Ruth (Esperanza Vargas), believes that he has lost his mind, until Elvira accidentally kills Ruth. Both women then proceed to make life miserable for Charles from the “other side”. Will he be able to get rid of both of them with Madame Arcati’s help? Find out on April 9th-12th at North High School as we present Blithe Spirit! Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Showtimes are Thursday-Saturday at 7:00PM and Sunday at 2:00PM
