Top student Journalist in Iowa -Tanna Jones
The Journalism Education Association and the Iowa High School Press Association announced that Tanna Jones, senior and co-editor in chief of The Oracle, won runner-up in the Iowa Journalist of the Year competition. This places Tanna as one of the top 3 student journalists in the state, which is a huge honor for her, our journalism program and North High School.
Winners will be recognized at the Leadership and Innovation in High School Media Conference at Drake University April 6. The first place winner gets to compete nationally for the Journalist of the Year Award.
