NHS students chosen to attend Conference In D.C.

Congratulations to Julio and Arlene Valenzuela who were chosen to attend the 4-H Youth Voice: Youth Choice Healthy Living Conference in Washington, D.C. in October. Julio and Arlene have been active members of the Juntos 4-H Club for three years and have recently taken on leadership roles as members of the Youth Advisory Council. The members of the Youth Advisory Council work together to help plan the Maize and Ujima retreats, culturally-based retreats that introduce youth in Iowa to the 4-H program. Congrats to Julio and Arlene!
