A downpour strong enough to postpone the Hoover-North football game wasn’t enough to stop an event organized to speak out against crime and violence, and in support of safe neighborhoods and communities. Harding Middle School was joined by North and Hoover high schools along with Goodrell and Meredith middle schools in organizing the walk. Click on the headline to read more.

Shoes That Fit, a frequent partner of the district meeting the most basic needs of kids came through again, this time by providing new shoes to 9th graders at North High School. The group took shoe orders during freshman orientation and made a bulk delivery to the auditorium this month. Click on the headline to read more.

North High Booster Club HOMECOMING PARADE was on Wednesday, October 4th.  The event was planned by the Booster Club and it was very well attended!  Lots of families lined the streets to catch candy and to cheer the Polar Bear Nation!  (Click on the title of this post to see additional pictures.)
