JAG National Student Leadership
Our very own Nyamal Gatluak will be attending the annual JAG National Student Leadership Academy that will take place from November 27th – December 1st in Washington DC. Over 100 students from Iowa submitted essays stating what iJAG has done for them and why they should be chosen to attend NSLA. From those essays 40 students were picked to compete in different events such as public speaking, math, PBL and employability skills. Nyamal chose to compete in the employability skills competition, which consisted of submitting a resume, composing a cover letter, filling out an application on the spot and participating in a mock interview. Please help me congratulate Nyamal and wish her luck at the competition.
