Scholarships can be a stressful task, but you need to make sure you are working on them throughout the school year. To find scholarships, you need to do some research. Be sure to always check the North Seniors’ Teams channel for updated info on North specific scholarships and other opportunities. You should also investigate scholarships at the colleges or universities you are applying to. Their financial aid and scholarship pages contain lots of opportunities. The Iowa College Access Network has some great resources, including Senior Tips and E-Alerts (Sign up!!) and an awesome Scholarship Database. Finally, be sure to check with employers (of you and your parents), churches, or other community organizations you are connected to, to see if they have scholarship funds available.
